Products & Services
As a leading manufacturer and supplier to the petroleum industry, Lincoln Manufacturing has delivered the products and services that demanding oil and gas operations need most in order to stay productive, efficient, and ultimately competitive – for over 30 years.
Products
Lincoln’s quality procedures are established under the guidance of the American Petroleum Institute (API) Specification Q1. Lincoln Manufacturing is licensed to manufacture and monogram products meeting API Specifications 5CT (Accessories, Couplings & Threading), API 5L (Line Pipe Couplings) and API Specification 7-1 (Drill Stem Subs and Threading for Rotary Shouldered Connections).
Conformance to API Specifications is carefully managed by a highly skilled team of quality assurance and quality control Lincoln professionals.
Adherence to strict API Specifications helps to ensure part-to-part product uniformity and consistency with complete traceability and documentation reporting to those who count on Lincoln Manufacturing the most, our customers.
LTC – Long Threaded Connection
STC – Short Threaded Connection
BTC – Buttress Threaded Connection
Our precision couplings are manufactured to half specification standards as published and in accordance with API 5CT and its most recent edition. Achieving this standard in manufacturing assures the user of a true fit coupling for every coupling make up, minimizes material stack up issues.
The material used is milled as domestic seamless, manufactured to the highest standards of API. We ensure all testing and material certifications are conforming to industry standards and customer defined requirements and control of specialty processes:
Mechanical Test Including Tensile Strength
Impact Test
Chemical Properties Control
Sulfide Stress Cracking Test (for Material Grades in C90 or T95)
Size Tolerances, Od, Wall Thickness, Length and Straightness
Threads Control, Threads Quantity Per Inch, Threads Angle
Heat Treating
Material Certification
Product Specification Level (Psl-2 or Psl-3)
Special Clearance
& Modified COuplings
Turned OD for tighter fits
Added seal rings
For Special Clearance Couplings we control the manufacturing process to achieve turned down couplings manufactured to API thread specifications with a smaller OD to fit in those off-sized wells.
Modified Couplings include seal ring grooves and seals for those special applications requiring more gas and fluid control.
Semi premium COUPLINGS
We are licensed (see our quality page) by the majority of mills and proprietary thread designers to manufacture their specific thread designs for couplings. These certifications are not easily achieved and once done so require annual re-certification.
When your well requires the increased torque performance, specialty material requirements, sour service environments, we are licensed and certified.
Premium COUPLINGS
Like semi-premium, premium connections are designed to meet the most demanding requirements of the Oil and Gas Industry. Our licenses and certifications are extensive. We maintain certifications for the most common, proven premium connections used today. Refer to our quality page for more information.
Raw Material Supplier
Coupling Stock
Mechanical Tubing
Heavy Wall casing
We maintain inventory of all sizes of Range 3 (R3) material in our four locations throughout Texas and Ohio. With over 70 acres of pipe storage we keep the most common sizes of coupling stock material in inventory. We leverage our buying power of “Mill Runs” and are able to pass these savings on to our customers when shortages exist.
This ensures we have material to meet immediate needs of seamless couplings of all sizes. We stock all sizes of casing and mechanical tubing. If we do not have it on the ground we can normally get it the same day.
Full Length Threading
We provide our customers a one-stop shop with the ability to thread full length pipe, provide the coupling, buck on and record torque on all sizes 4” to 20” OD pipe. We have 8 threading lines in Texas and 3 lines in Ohio specifically designed to provide full service of threaded and coupled pipe. With our rail spur access in Ohio we can manage the inventory direct from the mill to the drill site minimizing the freight and transportation expenses of our customers.
Oil Field Accessories
Pup Joints Tubing and Casing | sizes up to 13 3/8
Marker Joints
Float Equipment | Float Collars and Float Shoes
Crossovers
We provide many of the most common tools and accessories used in OCTG. As a single source supplier, we added this capability to complement the full-length threading and ease the supply chain with a one-stop supplier.
Some of the more common accessories are:
PUP JOINTS are a joint of pipe of non-standard length used to adjust the length of tubular strings to exact requirement. We provide both tubing (2 3/8” to 4”) and casing (4” to 13 3/8”) in all lengths. With our myriad of licenses (quality page) we are able to cut to length, thread and couple to meet specified needs. API casing and tubing pup joints are manufactured according to API Spec 5CT using prime API monogrammed, seamless oil country tubing. Premium pup joints are also available with premium connections and in API or exotic alloy grades.
MARKER JOINTS are a joint of tubing used in a workover or completion tubing string that serves as a position or depth indicator. In most cases, a marker joint is significantly shorter than other joints in the string so that it is easily noticeable.
FLOAT EQUIPMENT, normally collars and shoes are housing of various sizes of casing supporting the cementing application in well construction. We manufacture to customer print all sizes and varieties of collars and shoes.
CROSSOVERS can be a critical element in well construction, completion and workover; to change size and thread connection for specific requirements without changing the entire well design. We manufacture crossovers of all sizes and with our thread licenses, matching and miss-matching connections to integrate most tools and accessories in the well. Refer to our quality page for specific applications and licenses.
Micro Pile is used as a deep foundation element constructed using high-strength, small-diameter steel casing and/or threaded bars. They are designed to:
Provide structural support to most structures
Underpin foundations
Enhance mass stability
Transfer loads
Lincoln Manufacturing produces pin by pin, pin by box, starter joints from 4”, 10″, to 13 3/8″ inches in diameter.
Packers
Packers are a downhole device used in almost every completion to isolate the annulus from the production conduit, enabling controlled production, injection or treatment. A typical packer assembly incorporates a means of securing the packer against the casing or liner wall, such as a slip arrangement, and a means of creating a reliable hydraulic seal to isolate the annulus, typically by means of an expandable elastomeric element. Packers are classified by application, setting method and possible recovery.
We manufacture a variety of customer specific packers used in all applications of downhole REPackers (Reactive Element Packer) Inflatable, Swellable (Oil or Water Activated). Please call for specific information on packers we are licensed to manufacture.
Specialty Services
